Photos on a Wire
I saw something similar to this on a website somewhere, and I thought I would try making one of my own. It was surprisingly easy (and super fun!)
Approximate Cost: $10
Time to Create: About 10 Minutes
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
• 1/16" Steel Cable (not stainless steel)
• (2) 1/16" Cable Crimp Sleeves
• 5-10 Mini Neodymium Magnets
• Photos
• 3" Circle Punch (Optional)
• Crimping Pliers (not the jewelry-making kind!)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 • Gather the steel cable, the crimping pliers, and the crimp sleeves.
2 • Thread the cable through the crimp sleeve to make a loop. I found that the cable has a tendency to "fray," so be careful with this step.
3 • Use the crimping pliers to squash the crimp sleeve.
4 • Use the magnets to hang your photos on the wire. For these photos, I made the designs in Photoshop using an awesome freebie paper from Little Dreamer Designs.
